RCCM Santa Flavia (Sicily) traces its roots back to our very first international ministry, initiated in 1990 when Pastor Carmelo Cali returned to his birthplace of Italy after serving at RCCM International in Rochester for many years. His passion was to return to his homeland for the purposes of evangelism. Following Pastor Cali’s untimely passing in 2001, Pastor Gaspare Basile continued the work in Alta Villa. Subsequently, a new RCCM Church emerged to serve the picturesque community of Santa Flavia, located approximately 10 kilometers away. Under the leadership of Pastor Bartolo Taormina, RCCM Santa Flavia has flourished, marked notably by the RCCM Italy Villa, a gift from the Italian government for humanitarian work. Pastor Taormina, driven by a genuine compassion for others, regularly hosts outdoor gatherings, musical events, and other evangelistic work for the public, spreading the light of Jesus Christ to the community.
