…The Heavenly Wedding Reception!
1. The Bride of Christ, the church, will gather in the heavens with ten thousand times ten thousand of us.
2. God will wipe away every tear
3. We’ll have supernatural, incorruptible bodies
4. We will stand before God’s throne with those who went before us.
5. The saints (all believers of Christ, born again) of Christ will be wearing crowns and dazzling white Robes of Righteousness.
6. We will stand before our Bridegroom Jesus, and offer to Him our Gifts, the things we have done on earth in His name.
7. And for our efforts, we may receive as many as six crowns
a. The Crown for those who love His appearing (2 Tim. 4:8)
b. The Crown for enduring trials (James 1:12)
c. The Crown for those willing to feed the flock (1 Peter 5: 2-4)
d. The Crown for those who are faithful unto death (Rev. 2:10)
e. The Crown for those who win souls (1 Thess. 2:19)
f. The Crown for those who master the old nature (1 Cor. 9: 24-25)
Conclusion:
Listen closely, I can almost hear the orchestra of Heaven beginning to play the Wedding March.
